Dr. Weigel is a nationally recognized educator teaching a diverse range of courses at GT, including Intro Biology, Organismal Biology, and Ecology Lecture and Lab, as well as upper-level courses in Behavior, Experimental Design, Statistics, and in the VIP program. She also serves as a teaching mentor to graduate and undergraduate Teaching Assistants (TAs) in the TA prep courses, and instructs graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in the Tech to Teaching capstone course through the Center for Teaching and Learning. In Biological Sciences, Dr. Weigel serves as the Undergraduate Assessment Director and International Plan Advisor, and for about one-sixth of our Biology majors, she is also their undergraduate academic advisor.
