Lecturer Positions in Prosthetics and Orthotics

The School of Biological Sciences in the College of Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for immediate openings for three full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions as a prosthetic and orthotic instructor for our nationally renowned Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics Program (MSPO). Based on the applicant’s experience, the positions may be filled at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. The positions are for a term of 18 months with a possibility of further extension.  Positions will begin as soon as possible, but no later than January 2, 2018.

Individuals should have a Master’s degree and hold board certification (i.e., American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc.). They should have a broad clinical background, and previous teaching experience is preferred.  Duties include, but are not limited to, instruction of lecture and laboratory courses in the MSPO program, curriculum development, coordination of clinical rotations, and mentoring Capstone research projects.
